Senior Behavior Technician

About the role

CABA is dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and other disabilities, offering services to older children, teens, and adults. This role is designed for those with a strong background in behavior analysis and a desire to advance their career.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support across CABA service lines, including Specialized Behavior Services and Adaptive Skills Program
• Mentor, train, and support BTs and junior clinical staff
• Observe sessions, assess performance, and give constructive feedback
• Support BCBAs with assessments, data graphing, report writing, and client intake
• Collect treatment fidelity and interobserver agreement data
• Serve as a liaison between clinical leadership and frontline staff
• Conduct RBT evaluations and ongoing training
• Write incident reports and progress notes per CABA and funding source standards
• Model the clinical and professional standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Active RBT certification required
• 3 or more years of experience with individuals having severe challenging behavior
• Experience working with adults and adolescents with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health diagnoses
• CPR and CPI certification required
• Valid California driver’s license, registration, and proof of insurance
• Pass TB clearance and FBI/DOJ background check
• Three professional and two personal references

Qualifications

• Comfortable with active, hands-on work
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods

Pay

$30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule

This role covers multiple California regions and may require some evenings and weekends.
