Responsibilities
- Design and ship a comprehensive mutation audit log to meet SOC 2 Type II standards and ensure complete data lineage.
- Architect and harden ingestion pipelines to automate partner onboarding, reducing complex ETL timelines while maintaining data integrity.
- Define and enforce versioned data contracts that allow product teams to build features rapidly without touching underlying financial calculation logic.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience with a deep focus on ETL pipelines, data infrastructure, or regulated financial systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, including experience with modern frameworks like FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and managing high-performance PostgreSQL databases.
- Demonstrated ownership of production codebases and strong opinions on integration testing methodologies that guarantee correctness over synthetic data fixtures.
