About the Role
We’re looking for a high-caliber engineer who takes pride in delivering exceptional results. If you’re motivated by impact and want to work alongside driven, talented peers, this role is for you. You’ll join a small team, onboard quickly, and start shipping changes within your first two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Closinglock web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Collaborate on feature requests, feedback, and future product development efforts.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Python or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong experience developing services using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Experience with relational databases, including schema design, query optimization, and ORMs/integration with Python applications.
- Solid working experience building RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience with software testing, TDD, and unit testing.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Active experience integrating custom code with 3rd party APIs.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience working in the AWS ecosystem.
- Familiarity with application monitoring and reporting software such as Datadog and New Relic.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and thrive in an energetic environment.
