Senior Backend Developer (Python,3D,Math)

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• Review and debug code to ensure the software is of the highest quality.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.
• Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Qualifications

• Experienced Backend Developer, with a track record in Django web framework.
• Knowledge in Python 3, and familiarity with Django 4.2 or later web framework.
• Strong understanding of linear algebra, including matrix operations and transformations, alongside basic proficiency in statistics, probability, and experience utilizing Python numerical libraries like Numpy, Matplotlib, Open3D, Pytorch and Scipy.
• Demonstrated expertise in Open3D, including working with mesh and 3D models, point cloud processing.
• Can read/review/optimize/debug large code bases and give suggestions how to improve/refactor.
• Proficiency in using code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Familiarity with RESTful API, and RPC services.
• Proficient understanding of software development methodologies.
• Good communication skills in English, a team-oriented mindset, and a strong work ethic.
