Responsibilities

• 40% AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• 25% Kubernetes & Container Platforms
• 20% Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• 15% CI/CD, Automation & Observability

Daily breakdown:

• 70% Hands-On Engineering
• 10% Mentorship & Technical Guidance
• 20% Team Collaboration & Strategic Planning

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines
• Strong hands-on AWS experience supporting production environments
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes administration and containerized workloads
• Expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Python or Go
• Strong understanding of networking, security, IAM, and cloud architecture
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
• Experience supporting highly available production systems

Nice to have

• Healthcare, regulated industry, or compliance-focused environment experience
• GitOps experience utilizing ArgoCD
• Experience with Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Service mesh exposure
• Secrets management experience
• Previous startup or high-growth company experience
• Mentorship and technical leadership experience
