About the role
Responsible for providing direct support services to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. Works closely with clients to promote their recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support services to clients in recovery
- Assist clients in developing and implementing personal recovery plans
- Participate in regular meetings with supervisors and peers to discuss progress and challenges
- Conduct home visits and coordinate with other service providers as needed
- Ensure client safety and address immediate needs as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of addiction treatment principles and practices
- Passion for supporting individuals in recovery
Skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
