Responsibilities
- Planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of multi-discipline airport projects with high degrees of technical complexity
- Managing project staff and workload through project development
- Completing projects on time and within budget
- Establishing client relations and involvement in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings
- Conducting design development and contract document work sessions at project sites
- Implementing QA/QC procedures and executing training for personnel
- Typically supervising project staff and acting as a mentor for less experienced staff members
- Working with HDR’s North Texas Area leadership, the Texas Aviation Lead, and the North Texas Region Aviation Lead on pursuits and delivery of projects in North Texas Airports and the State of Texas
- Primary focus on medium to large Commercial Airports
Requirements
- Master's degree
- PMP certification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10 years related experience
- A minimum of 5 years project management experience
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree, PMP certification
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 10 years related experience, Minimum 5 years project management experience, Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
Skills
MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)
Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
