About the role
Turner Auto Care in Webster, NY is looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician with strong diagnostic ability to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair drivability and electrical issues using professional scan tools and testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot check-engine lights and complex vehicle systems.
- Repair steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain systems.
- Perform digital inspections and document vehicle condition.
- Communicate findings with service advisors and team members.
- Mentor or assist other technicians when needed.
Requirements
- Has strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Can independently diagnose drivability issues and check-engine light.
- Holds a valid NYS Driver’s License and NYS Inspector License.
- Wants a long-term career home, not just another job.
- Works well in a team-oriented shop environment.
- Comfortable performing proper diagnostics and electrical testing — not simply replacing parts.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
- ASE certifications (or willingness to pursue them).
- Welding and custom exhaust fabrication experience.
- Experience using modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment.

Pay
Competitive Pay: $30–$35/hr depending on experience.
Schedule
4-Day Work Week: Monday–Thursday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
