Senior Automation Technician 2nd shift

About the role

Responsible for overseeing and maintaining automated systems in a manufacturing environment. Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex automation system issues
• Train and mentor junior technicians
• Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to improve system efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation technology
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Skills

• Automation systems design and implementation
• PLC programming (S7, Allen Bradley)
• Robotics integration
• System diagnostics and troubleshooting
