Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of automation projects from PO through deployment and in some cases, post implementation support.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Manage multiple, concurrent automation initiatives with varying complexity levels.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints; develop mitigation plans.
- Participate in the quote, plan, and Project Manage FEED engagements.
- Hold yourself and project team accountable for overall project financial profitability (GP), scope, schedule, and quality.
- Maintain full customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle to encourage repeat business.
- Achieve key stakeholder objectives while meeting customer demands.
- Follow the approved project management processes to ensure project success.
- Affiliate with leadership with establishing project governance, standards, and best practices.
- Present project updates, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership as required.
Qualifications
- Education/Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Computer) or Business degree with equivalent years of experience in technical field(s).
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, or SCRUM certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of the National Electric Code a plus.
- Experience/Skills: 8+ years of Project Management experience, including proficiency in project execution standards and strategies; 5+ years in DCS, PLC, or SCADA automation; proven track record with customers in managing projects; demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams; proficient in use of common computer software programs: Microsoft Office, Visio and Project primarily; Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and P&IDs.
