Senior Auditor - US Compliance
About the Role
This is an experienced audit professional role within TD's Audit department, located in Wilmington, Delaware. The role requires sound audit or business conceptual knowledge, with the ability to independently perform tasks from end to end. The successful candidate will conduct audit work based on established audit plans, execute testing of controls, and support the team in reviewing internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Conducts audit work based on established audit plans and executes the audit in accordance with established standards, ensuring completion.
- Executes testing of controls, including walkthroughs, test scripts development and execution, and issue identification.
- Helps coordinate communication with stakeholders throughout the audit process.
- Supports the team in reviewing internal controls and sharing findings and suggestions with stakeholders and audit leadership.
- Executes follow-up of findings raised from regulatory and internal divisional audits in accordance with firm policy.
- Provides input to audit projects/initiatives as a representative for the area of specialization.
- Assists in preparing and sharing audit findings and presentation materials with management and broader audiences.
- Assesses and identifies key issues, escalating to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders as required.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in audit or a related field.
Qualifications
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of internal policies, procedures, enterprise frameworks, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Pay
$67,820.00 - $97,220.00 USD
