Job Responsibilities
The Senior Auditor/Financial Monitor will:
- Plan, conduct, and report on WIOA monitoring engagements, as well as other performance, operational, compliance, and financial internal examinations utilizing a risk-based approach.
- Prepare workpapers including supporting documentation and cross references in accordance with Generally Accepted Governmental Audit Standards (GAGAS) and internal procedures.
- Write clear, well-formatted monitoring and examination reports with supporting findings, criteria, and recommendations, collaborating with SMEs as needed, in accordance with GAGAS.
- Assist the Audit Director in establishing and/or updating the policies and procedures, the annual risk assessment, and the consolidated findings chart to ensure compliance with Professional Standards.
- Perform related duties as required by the Audit Director.
