Senior Auditor - Digital Technology & Cybersecurity

Job Description

This role ensures the successful execution of security assessments conducted by third-party vendors across multiple GE business units.

• Supervise a team of security and audit specialists to conduct IT security assessments of third parties
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including but not limited to IT, procurement, legal, and functional teams, to build strong working relationships
• Develop and maintain standard processes for evaluating third-party risks
• Maintain service documentation for all programs and establish clear SOPs

Qualifications

This role requires extensive experience in audit, attestation, and certification. A bachelor's degree in computer science, STEM fields (mathematics, engineering, natural sciences, and technology), or equivalent is required.

• Proven ability to manage a security service in a matrix environment
• Experience in a regulated financial services environment
• Experience with various industry regulations (PCI, HIPAA, export controls, data protection laws, etc.)
• Able to consider contributions from multiple stakeholders and handle complex business and technical requirements, quickly determine the appropriate security solution, and then make a determination
• Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills – able to communicate effectively with both the technical and management audiences
• Outstanding social skills and leadership qualities
• Proven knowledge of recognized IT security standards and technologies
• Experience in large, multi-timezone environments

Pay and Schedule

• The base pay range for this position is between $119,100.00 and $198,500.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
• Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus
