Senior Auditor / Accountant (N)

About the role

SimIS, Inc. seeks a skilled and experienced Auditor/Accountant to support the NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) Office of Internal Audit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct database audits, configuration audits, and workflow analyses
• Support compliance and integrity audits, inspections, reviews, and audit tests
• Work closely with the NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) Office of Internal Audit
• Drive, facilitate, and advocate the continuous improvement of Alliance capabilities to maintain and enhance military relevance and effectiveness of the Alliance

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in compliance, integrity, or fraud auditing
• 6 years of experience in fund management or travel planning, review, and management in a large organization
• Experience in compiling, structuring, and analyzing large datasets
• Experience with operation of automated accounting systems and office automation software packages, particularly spreadsheet applications

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in accounting, finance, management, business administration, public administration or related discipline
• BS Degree with significant accounting experience will be considered
• Due to the sensitive nature of this position, the candidate must disclose any personal or professional relationships with ACT staff within the last 5 years
