About the role

Topel Forman, L.L.C. is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Auditor. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits and reviews
• Prepare audit working papers and reports
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation
• Participate in client meetings and consultations
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred but not required
• 2+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or similar field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Passion for public accounting and a commitment to excellence

Skills

• Proficiency in auditing and tax software
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software
