Senior Audit Manager

• Lead and manage full-cycle internal and external financial audit engagements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Develop audit plans, programs, and risk assessments aligned with organizational objectives.
• Oversee internal control testing, SOX compliance activities, and COSO framework implementation.
• Identify control weaknesses, financial risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit team members through coaching and performance feedback.
• Review audit workpapers, financial reports, technical accounting memorandums, and regulatory filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial controls and operational efficiency.
• Provide recommendations to strengthen risk management and compliance processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of accounting regulations, auditing standards, tax requirements, and financial reporting practices.
• Support governmental accounting, public accounting, and compliance-related audit activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required.
• Extensive experience in public accounting, internal audit, or corporate audit environments.
• Proven experience managing audit teams and complex audit engagements.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, SOX compliance, COSO framework, and internal controls testing.
• Experience with financial reporting, technical accounting, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition, lease accounting, and technical accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word, along with accounting and financial analysis software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
