Duties
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating managed care agreements, including value based care arrangements.
- Advising on reimbursement policies and regulatory requirements for Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payers, including risk adjustment compliance.
- Advising on disputes and litigation related to payer payment and contractual issues.
- Advising on clinically Integrated Network issues and antitrust compliance.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Attorney obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Education: Juris Doctorate degree required.
- Work Experience: 5 years of experience as licensed, practicing attorney required.
Preferences
- Experience working with provider/payer agreements.
- Experience drafting and advising on managed care payer agreements.
