Senior Attorney - Long Term Care Planning Department
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Long-Term Care Planning team, including planners, care coordinators, paralegals, and legal assistants.
- Ensure departmental alignment with firm values of Quality, Service, Integrity, and Empathy.
- Conduct consultations and ongoing meetings with clients and families.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care and Medicaid planning strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and resolve client concerns professionally.
- Review and approve legal documents including Powers of Attorney, Wills, Trusts, and Irrevocable Trusts.
- Supervise benefit entitlement applications and manage appeals as needed.
- Mentor staff and ensure accuracy in all client files.
- Collaborate with planners and professionals to deliver holistic solutions.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of three years of experience in elder law, estate planning, or long-term care planning.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and technology skills.
