About the Role

Grimaldi Law Firm, a specialized boutique woman-owned firm in Hollywood, Florida, is seeking an experienced estate planning attorney to join our team. We provide comprehensive real estate, estate planning, and probate services, focusing on helping clients protect their legacies and avoid the court system. Our firm operates like an in-house legal and consulting department for private individuals, investors, and small businesses.

We are dedicated to our five Core Principles: Integrity, Compassion, Communication, Teamwork, and the constant Pursuit of Excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where estate planning is respected and prioritized, with a hybrid schedule possible after integration.

Responsibilities

  • Handle client design meetings and manage a full caseload independently.
  • Draft and review estate planning documents for non-taxable estates.
  • Collaborate with drafting paralegals and legal assistants to ensure document accuracy and client education.
  • Lead and supervise paralegals and staff as a team member, not a dictator.
  • Review cases and progress with the firm owner on a weekly basis.
  • Adopt and help improve the firm’s existing systems and procedures for estate planning.
  • Focus on plan design, document integrity, client relationships, and measurable benchmarks (work accomplished and income generated).
  • Embody the firm’s mission: helping clients acquire, protect, and grow generational wealth for freedom and peace of mind.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, with the ability to work independently on non-taxable estates.
  • Experience in elder law, probate, trust administration, or tax planning is a plus.
  • Willingness to fully adopt and improve the firm’s existing systems and procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide paralegals and staff as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to the firm’s Core Principles and mission.

Pay

Starting base salary: $140,000–$170,000 per year, depending on experience and fit. The role includes opportunities for monthly bonuses and above-market compensation.

Team and Culture

We are a small but growing team that supports personal, professional, and financial growth. Our culture emphasizes teamwork, mutual support, and delivering an exceptional client experience to create raving fans. We strive to help team members become their best selves while achieving both individual and firm goals.
