Senior Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including mediations, depositions, and trial preparation
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and appellate briefs
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex real estate and foreclosure issues
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, maintaining deadlines and compliance with court rules
• Counsel and communicate effectively with clients regarding case strategy, risk, and outcomes

Requirements

• Active California State Bar license in good standing
• Senior Counsel: 10+ years of litigation experience
• Minimum 2 years of real estate law experience required
• Real estate transaction experience is a plus
• Strong experience in drafting motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, writs, and appeals
• Proven success in depositions, mediations, and courtroom advocacy
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
• Able to manage a full litigation caseload independently
• Law Review, clerkship, or appellate experience preferred but not required
