Responsibilities
- Participate in and assume in-charge responsibilities for audits, reviews, and compilations
- Supervise less experienced staff
- Directly correspond and communicate with clients
- Handle due date responsibilities
- Enhance efficiency and effectiveness on engagements during planning
- Develop technical knowledge to perform in-charge responsibilities
- Research and propose resolutions to technical accounting and auditing (A&A) matters
- Assist in developing additional services for current clients
- Develop and maintain contacts through networking and community involvement for referral use
- Assist with firm recruiting efforts as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
- CPA license preferred
- 2 years of public accounting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Critical thinking skills
- Effective leadership of team members
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
