About the role

The Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) – CFO Services team at Alvarez & Marsal is expanding in various locations throughout the U.S. This team provides CFO Services including interim management, treasury/cash management, systems implementation, and more to middle market and large cap private equity firms.

Responsibilities

  • Developing findings and making strategic recommendations based on financial models and financial statements.
  • Managing projects with a structured work plan, ensuring timely completion.
  • Implementing treasury and cash management systems.
  • Using data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, and think-cell.
  • Collaborating with team members to deliver time-sensitive projects.
  • Building client relationships and synthesizing insights from data.

Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years of relevant work experience in areas such as Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Strategy, Treasury, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Corporate Finance, etc.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited 4-year institution.
  • Strong expertise with data and analytics tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time at short/immediate notice.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial modeling experience and understanding of financial statements.
  • Experience with Tableau and think-cell software.
  • Treasury and cash management experience.
  • Systems implementation experience.

Skills

  • Excellent written, oral, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Effective project management skills (time, team, and work-streams).
  • Proactive and creative thinking.
  • Strong client relationship building skills.

Benefits

Alvarez & Marsal offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including education, experience, skills, and geography. Additionally, the firm provides a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.

The salary range is $120,000-$160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.

Schedule

The position requires flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time at short/immediate notice.
