Senior Associate, Vaccine Demand & Implementation
Position Summary
The Global Immunization Department is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Associate to join its Vaccine Demand & Implementation (VDI) team. This role supports high-impact global immunization initiatives, focusing on the RSV Global Communication and Advocacy Project.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day coordination across all project workstreams, including support in maintaining workplans, timelines, and deliverables tracking
Support the Project Manager in overall project execution, including planning, reporting, and internal coordination
Prepare materials for internal and external meetings, including agendas, presentations, and summaries
Track progress against milestones and support donor reporting and documentation
Cook up with consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project outputs
Stakeholder Engagement & Communities of Practice
Support engagement with global, regional, and country-level stakeholders, including partners, RSV champions, and technical collaborators
Coordinate and support implementation of communities of practice (CoPs), including session planning, logistics, participant engagement, and follow-up
Prepare briefing materials and summaries to support stakeholder alignment and relationship management
Maintain stakeholder trackers and support coordination across partners
Knowledge Management
Support the development, organization, and dissemination of knowledge products, including briefs, presentations, toolkits, and summaries
Contribute to content development and maintenance for the digital knowledge and engagement platform
Support planning and execution of convenings and events, including logistics, materials, and participant coordination
Aid in formatting, editing, and quality control of project deliverables
Ensure project outputs are well-organized, accessible, and aligned with project messaging
Qualifications
4+ years of relevant professional experience; experience in global health, nonprofit, international development, vaccines, immunization programs, or multi-country/global projects preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as global health, public health, international development, communications, or a related discipline
Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting, editing, and formatting complex documents
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse, geographically dispersed stakeholders with professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and diplomacy
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
High attention to detail, with strong time management and prioritization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, as well as virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom
Interest in global health and advancing immunization and vaccine-related initiatives

Sabin’s philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased, equitable, competitive compensation and benefits. Using benchmarking and salary survey data, the starting annual salary for this position ranges from $69,000 - $85,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, certifications/degree.
