Responsibilities
- Assist with core financial due diligence, identifying key risks and potential deal breakers, assessing strengths and weaknesses, and evaluating transactions within clients' investment strategies.
- Analyze detailed financial statements, converting data into meaningful insights for discussions with target management and stakeholders.
- Conduct investigative analyses, construct deal-oriented reports and presentations highlighting key financial, commercial, and other findings.
- Participate in meetings and conference calls with target company management and client personnel, serving as a secondary point of contact for client needs.
- Build and maintain client relationships and explore business development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years of audit and financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm, with at least 1 year in financial due diligence.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of obtaining one.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and SEC reporting.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Flexibility to work in fast-paced settings.
Pay
The base salary is $130,000 annually, with a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Employees are also eligible for a 401(k) retirement savings plan and various benefits including healthcare, flexible spending accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverage.
