About the role
The Senior Associate, Tax position at our company is responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of federal and state tax laws, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to maximize client benefits and minimize liabilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these updates to clients.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in tax preparation and consulting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience working with complex tax issues.
- Knowledge of tax software and systems.
