Position Description
The Senior Associate, Strategic Partnerships, plays a crucial support role within the Strategic Partnerships team. Reporting directly to the Director, the Associate is responsible for curating and managing key data, support in conducting industry and market research, and the execution of strategic initiatives. This individual will also assist in coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Thought Leaders to ensure the team has access to the most relevant insights and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Organization
- Gather and organize data from various sources, including internal teams and various systems, to support strategic client efforts.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for the team.
- Information Curation
- Collect, consolidate, and organize key insights, reports, and presentations to provide the Director and SVP with actionable information for client engagements and strategy development.
- Maintain a repository of key client, industry, and market insights for quick reference.
- Research and Analysis
- Industry, Client, and Market Research
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, client competitors, and emerging market opportunities.
- Compile findings to support the development of comprehensive client strategies.
- Provide detailed reports and summaries that inform strategic decisions and client presentations.
- Support Strategic Initiatives
- Aid in preparing client deliverables, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), client action plans, and case studies.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings, workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
- Cross-Functional Support
- Coordinate with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Thought Leaders to gather insights and expertise to support the business.
- Ensure timely delivery of expert input and incorporate it into client strategies and presentations.
- Project Coordination
- Manage timelines and deliverables for key projects, ensuring the Director and SVP are equipped with the necessary data and materials.
- Track progress on strategic initiatives and report updates to the team.
- General Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, including scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
- Data Accuracy and Availability: Timely and accurate curation of data and research findings.
- Research Quality: Ability to deliver thorough and actionable research insights.
- Operational Efficiency: Effectiveness in supporting projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
- Collaboration and Communication: Proactive coordination with SMEs, internal teams, and external partners.
- Experience: 2+ years in a research, coordination, or support role, preferably in media, marketing, or strategy.
- Research Skills: Strong analytical and research abilities, with experience in market and industry analysis.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data management and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Experience in a fast-paced agency or corporate environment.
- Familiarity with media planning and buying processes.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop strategies that drive client success.
- Cross Team Collaboration: Ability to proactively work across departments, functions, and teams to align priorities.
- Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with clients and internal teams.
- Innovation / Ideation: The ability to generate creative, forward-thinking ideas and translate them into practical solutions that create value for the business, clients, or teams.
