About the role
The Senior Associate, State and Local Tax will play a key role in providing tax advisory services to clients. This position will be responsible for analyzing complex state and local tax issues, preparing tax returns, and assisting in the development of tax strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze state and local tax laws and regulations
- Prepare and review state and local tax returns
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies
- Collaborate with other members of the tax team to provide comprehensive tax solutions
- Stay current with changes in state and local tax laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in state and local tax consulting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with large corporations and governmental entities
- Knowledge of state and local tax compliance procedures
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
