Media planning and buying role focused on developing and executing media plans in collaboration with the strategy team.
Responsibilities
- Lead data gathering and analysis to support media recommendations.
- Help manage execution of media plans, including authorizations and insertion orders.
- Prepare and distribute weekly status reports; analyze performance data and flag optimizations.
- Monitor media performance against objectives and provide insights.
- Collaborate with strategy, investment, and operations teams to ensure accurate execution.
- Participate in client and publisher meetings with active contribution.
- Take ownership of select campaign workstreams.
- Attend trainings and apply learnings to day-to-day work.
- Contribute in internal and external meetings, building vendor knowledge.
Requirements
- Interest in the principles of advertising, marketing, and media, with a foundational understanding of media planning and investment.
- Strong analytical thinking with competency in mathematical concepts and data interpretation.
- Works well independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to manipulate and present data.
- Ability to learn media tools and software and apply them with limited supervision.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely, as well as communicate and interact professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- 1–3 years of agency experience or relevant/translatable work.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Mediaocean (Prisma/DDS)
- Ad servers (Google Campaign Manager, Innovid)
- Excel/spreadsheet tools
- Brand verification partners (IAS, DoubleVerify)
- At least one investment platform (Meta, Google Ads, DV360, etc.) preferred
- Interest in and knowledge of sports.
Pay
$40,000.00–$75,000.00 (New York).
Schedule
Minimum of three days per week in-office; some teams or managers may require additional in-office days.
