Senior Associate Specialist, Production

About the Role

Celanese is seeking a Senior Associate Specialist, Production Operator in Washington, WV. This role ensures 24/7 teams effectively use unit procedures, implement best practices, and apply incident learnings to prevent drift. The position involves developing and executing training programs based on process, product, and equipment knowledge to maximize team effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Routine Activities

• Field evaluation of procedure usage as defined by SQRE plan.
• Continuously monitor and test the application of technical knowledge in field and process activities.
• Identify potential training gaps and develop action plans to correct deviations.
• Execute operational training.
• Implement and develop technical training for knowledge transfer and personnel development.
• Maintain and update SOP, EOP, and CONOPS materials.
• Maintain training record documentation in accordance with retention policies.

Ad Hoc Activities

• Serve as a core team member for Management of Change (MOCs).
• Oversee team unit knowledge certification and progression.
• Lead new hires, transfers, or interns through the on-boarding unit process and progression development stages.

Overarching Activities

• Build strategy around training and knowledge support.

Requirements
