We are seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to join our Bioassay Group within the Therapeutic Proteins Department, supporting our immuno-oncology programs in an on-site capacity. In this role, you will contribute to the screening and in vitro characterization of preclinical and clinical drug candidates within Regeneron's innovative pipeline. When & Where Location: Tarrytown, NYWork model: On-site Discover Your Role Develop cell-based assays to evaluate drug candidates using both primary and engineered mammalian cellsDesign and perform experiments to screen and characterize preclinical and clinical drug candidates within our immuno-oncology pipelinePerform mammalian cell culture and generate stable cell lines to support ongoing studiesIsolate primary cells and apply flow cytometry techniques to characterize cellular responsesRun cell-based functional assays, including reporter and cytotoxicity assaysCollaborate with a dynamic team working across diverse therapeutic areas, with a primary focus on immuno-oncologyLearn new techniques and contribute to multiple projects at onceExplore scientific questions and present findings in cross-functional meetings This Role Requires A Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degreeKnowledge of immunology, protein biology, and mammalian cell culture techniques; hands-on bench research experience preferredAbility to multitask experiments and data analysis across diverse projectsExperience working independently as well as within a collaborative team environmentAbility to communicate effectively within a large teamExcellent adaptability and flexibility, with great attention to detail and outstanding organizational skillsA background in in-vitro T cell characterization (functional and antigen-binding assays) is a plusExperience with cell-based assays, immunoassays (flow cytometry or plate reader-based) and basic molecular biology techniques is also a plusHigh-throughput screening experience and familiarity with liquid handlers are beneficial Does this sound like you?
