Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with tech teams to define comprehensive acceptance criteria, conducting additional research as needed to refine future feature designs.

  • Break down business epics into features and user stories, aiming for a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to validate features.

  • Use hypothesis-driven assessments of data to ensure products or features meet real business needs.

  • Own and prioritize feature development roadmaps, ensuring adherence to all necessary processes and procedures to manage risk.

  • Work autonomously in an agile environment to develop cutting-edge solutions using new and evolving technology.

  • Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to build robust product platforms for customers.

  • Participate in horizontal forums to build trusted relationships across tech teams, designers, key internal stakeholders, and partner teams.

  • Elevate your team's results by articulating a clear product roadmap and sharing it with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience.

  • At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.

  • Preferred qualifications include:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.

    • 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products.

    • 1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences.

    • 1+ years working with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process.

Pay

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role vary by location, ranging from $101,100 - $138,400. Part-time roles will have their salaries prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours worked. For more details, visit the Capital One Careers website.
