About the role
The Senior Associate, Paid Media will participate in developing and delivering integrated paid media strategies and activation across a diverse range of digital channels. This role will support planning, execution, optimization, and reporting across paid social, programmatic, publisher-direct, and digital video campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Execute and optimize campaigns across multiple digital media channels including LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, programmatic display, online video (OLV), YouTube, and publisher-direct placements
- Manage campaign creation, forecasting, budgeting, pacing, testing, and optimization to achieve client objectives and KPIs
- Support integrated media planning efforts across awareness, engagement, demand generation, lead generation, and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives
- Ensure campaign performance across multiple B2B client accounts meets business goals and success metrics
- Produce and interpret high-quality performance reports to provide actionable insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance
- Analyze cross-channel campaign and content performance to identify audience trends, creative learnings, and optimization opportunities
- Act as day-to-day contact for clients and/or Account Leads regarding paid media strategy, execution, and performance
- Provide strategic direction and input for media plans, audience strategies, channel recommendations, and measurement frameworks
- Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, platforms, publishers, and technology partners
- Monitor emerging trends across paid media, social platforms, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing to improve campaign performance and recommend innovative solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with digital, analytics, creative, account, and strategy teams to develop integrated client solutions
- Assist with assessments, recommendations, and strategic support for new business opportunities
- Develop integrated cross-channel strategies that align media investments with client business objectives
- Maintain a deep understanding of Edelman capabilities, industry trends, and client businesses
- Be accountable for the success of cross-channel client campaigns from planning through reporting
- Execute all aspects of campaign management processes including campaign strategy, audience targeting, tagging recommendations, platform setup, delivery management (pacing, budget, spend, invoice tracking), analysis, and reporting
Requirements
- 3+ years of digital media experience across paid social, programmatic, digital video, and/or search campaigns
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Experience planning, recommending, and implementing strategic paid media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, Google Ads, YouTube, DV360, The Trade Desk, and other digital advertising platforms
- Experience developing integrated digital communications and marketing plans for B2B organizations, with a strong understanding of media strategy, evolving digital trends, and full-funnel marketing initiatives including brand awareness, audience engagement, demand generation, lead generation, and account-based marketing (ABM) programs
- Proven track record analyzing paid media campaign performance and developing and implementing optimization recommendations
- Understanding of audience targeting, measurement frameworks, attribution methodologies, and media analytics
- Relevant experience in marketing, advertising, communications or digital media
- Strong research, writing, editing and client interaction skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
