Senior Associate, Marketplace Audience Strategy & Operations
About the role
The Senior Associate, Marketplace Audience Strategy & Operations role is for analytical, entrepreneurial operators who enjoy diving into data, creatively problem-solving, and driving insights on business performance trends. You will support new Audience penetration for DoorDash’s largest business unit, working with cross-functional teams to analyze performance, manage external partnerships, and develop strategic plans. This role involves using AI tools to improve reporting efficiency, troubleshooting performance blockers at individual College campuses, and building reporting mechanisms for senior leadership.
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with some in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand, report, and drive business performance.
- Support the creation of strategic plans that serve as a roadmap for execution.
- Analyze US Marketplace performance to identify trends and drive actionable insights.
- Work with Strategy and Planning teams to develop tooling that improves reporting and planning efficiency.
- Broker and manage external ecosystem partnerships.
- Troubleshoot performance blockers at individual College campuses.
- Build reporting and performance updates for senior leadership.
- Translate new ideas into actionable tests or reporting mechanisms.
- Drive strategic plans that guide execution across the business.
- Manage a team of College Ambassadors and leads supporting on-the-ground presence at colleges.
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in strategy, operations, planning, or related areas.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into tangible insights.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Cursor) to improve analytics and reporting.
- Action-oriented mindset with a bias toward execution in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Creative problem-solving approach, avoiding reliance on "this is how it’s always been done."
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead with empathy while holding cross-functional partners accountable.

Pay
National base pay range for this position: $87,000—$128,000 USD (localized based on work location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
