Senior Associate, Marketing Strategist Integrated Strategy | Retail Bank

Capital One is seeking a Marketing Senior Associate to join our dynamic Integrated Strategy team. In this role, you will contribute to breakthrough marketing campaigns by assisting with creative and messaging strategies, campaign integration, and insights gathering.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Creative Strategy: Gather business objectives and consumer insights into clear creative briefs for internal creative teams and external agency partners.
• Support Messaging Strategy: Help execute clear, compelling, and customer-centric messaging hierarchies and narratives that resonate with target audiences.
• Assist with the Learning Agenda: Support a test-and-learn mindset by tracking key questions and partnering with analytics teams to gather campaign effectiveness results and insights.
• Coordinate Campaign Integration: Work with cross-functional teams—including Brand, Channel Leads, and Product Strategy—to help support a cohesive and seamless customer experience.
• Gather Insights: Build knowledge on customers, the competitive landscape, and market trends using data to support marketing recommendations and provide updates to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, or advertising.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting marketing campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on brand strategy or campaign development.

Skills

• Experience assisting with omni-channel integrated marketing campaigns.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to partner with team members and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to help translate data and customer insights into marketing updates and recommendations.
• Experience contributing to insightful creative briefs and supporting the creative development process from concept to execution.
• A collaborative spirit and experience managing tasks for multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Pay

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours worked. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).

• McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Associate, Marketing
• Wilmington, DE: $87,700 - $100,000 for Sr. Associate, Marketing

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
