Primary Responsibilities
- Support development of influencer strategy across multiple tiers (celebrity, mid-tier, micro)
- Discover, vet, and recommend influencer talent aligned to client goals and campaign objectives
- Manage influencer outreach, negotiations, contracting, and onboarding processes
- Support content production, asset management, and timeline tracking across influencer programs
- Coordinate approvals across client, legal, and integrated agency teams
- Collaborate with paid social team to optimize influencer content for amplification
- Monitor cultural trends, social media behaviors, and emerging creators to keep our work ahead of the curve
- Proactively identify process improvements, contribute ideas to evolve our influencer approach, and bring new opportunities to the table
- Help manage reporting, performance tracking, and learnings for ongoing optimization
- Ensure seamless collaboration with social, creative, PR, and paid teams to maintain an integrated approach
Qualifications
- 3 years' experience working in influencer marketing, preferably at an agency or in-house at a brand
- Fluent in social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, emerging platforms) and adept at identifying talent trends
- Understanding of the relationship between influencer content and paid media; experience coordinating with paid teams
- Comfortable supporting influencer contracting and negotiations
- Sharp project management skills — highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Culturally curious — stays plugged into what's trending, what's next, and who's shaping conversations
- Self-starter who takes initiative, problem-solves independently, and brings fresh thinking to the table
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, integrated environment
Required Competencies
- True passion and understanding of pop culture with demonstrated community engagement (music, gaming, fashion, food, internet culture, etc.)
- Ability to influence creative ideations — from ideas presented to influencers selected to content created to language used in post copy
- High cultural competencies with understanding of the role and importance of diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I); ability to interact effectively across cultures
- Deep understanding of the influencer landscape with proven ability to build, speak, and grow relationships with change agents and cultural makers (celebrities, influencers, artists, thought leaders) directly or via their agents
- Openness to a public-facing role with willingness to speak publicly about influencer trends
- Experience identifying and managing diverse vendors and partners, including working with RFPs and meeting with leading tech companies to understand their services
- Ability to step up and lead effectively in client and agency interests while cultivating, mentoring, and coaching mid to junior staff
- Skill in identifying influencer opportunities (organic or new) to drive revenue on assigned accounts
- Understanding of compliance with best practices (FTC updates, platform requirements) and experience partnering with legal and finance to reduce risk and liabilities
- Experience building engaged audiences on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Clubhouse, and other distribution platforms
- Ability to build client presentations that tell smart, compelling stories — highly motivated, energetically charged, and inspired
- Curiosity and willingness to learn a little bit of everything, open to taking on anything
Pay
$66,300 - $70,000
Schedule
Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
