About the Role
The Senior Associate Fund Financial Operations is an integral member of the Fund Financial Operations (“FFO”) team with primary responsibility for:
- Quarterly financial results via oversight of the fund administrator and review of accounting results and all required reporting.
- Quarterly investor reports on behalf of sponsored commingled fund and separate account vehicles.
- Recurring and ad-hoc operational and financial performance requests from existing and prospective investors and the consulting community.
This role ensures that investors receive all requested information in an accurate, timely, and courteous manner and supports other groups with timely data to drive the operations and efforts of the firm.

Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day financial operations of the assigned funds; ensure accurate/timely NAVs, capital accounts, allocations; review/approve financials, calls/distributions, investor packages.
- Review quarterly financial statements, management fee and carried interest calculations, and other reporting provided by third-party fund administrators.
- Maintain oversight of fund accounting activities performed by third-party administrators, ensuring alignment with US GAAP, investor expectations, and operational standards.
- Review recurring and ad-hoc investor and consultant inquiries, surveys, and questionnaires related to operational and financial information. Organize data collection between teams and provide deliverables with appropriate information, ensuring consistency with past reporting and disclosures.
- Produce quarterly investor reports in Workiva by collaborating with Portfolio Management, Fund Administrator, Asset Management, and other teams to assemble and process operational and financial data required for disclosure.
- Assist with reviewing processing capital calls, distributions, and other investor communications.
- Maintain accuracy of data for assigned commingled funds and/or separate accounts and investors in the Juniper Square investor portal.
- Liaise with other FFO team members to implement process efficiencies that ensure consistency, scalability, and adoption of best practices across the team and firm.
- Manage the data flow and reporting framework to ensure timely, accurate, and relevant communications to investors.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 4+ years of applicable experience in investment accounting, fund accounting, and/or investor reporting.
- Real estate private equity experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptionally strong analytical and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while being flexible, adaptable, and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with Workiva, Juniper Square, and Yardi preferred.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Willing to work onsite full-time.
