Senior Associate, Disputes and Investigations

Responsibilities

  • Manage, sort through, and analyze significant volumes of data and other information
  • Assist in developing and evaluating claims, damages, and calculations
  • Analyze existing financial models and other analyses to determine business valuations and damages
  • Create new financial models based on business issues or transactions being analyzed
  • Aid in drafting reports and findings, including the preparation of tables, exhibits, and charts
  • Perform reviews of and evaluate expert submissions
  • Research technical and industry-specific issues
  • Document assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information used for analyses
  • Aid in the drafting of client deliverables using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other applications
  • Develop and suggest solutions to complex problems by thinking “outside the box”
  • Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities
  • Communicate proactively and effectively to all levels of the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • CPA designation/eligibility preferred
  • Certifications in CFE or CFF are preferred
  • 3-6 years of experience in Big 4 or national accounting firm, a forensic and disputes consulting practice
  • Transactional financial due diligence experience a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective interpersonal skills - good team player with the ability to work under pressure and seek guidance when needed
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to meet client needs

Benefits

The salary range is $80,000 - $110,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Employees are also entitled to participate in fringe benefits such as healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages, as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part-time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
