About the role

Temple's School of Pharmacy is searching for a motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven candidate with proven experience in engaging constituents in a donor pipeline to join our high-achieving team as a Senior Associate Director of Development. The Senior Associate Director will work collaboratively with the Dean of the School of Pharmacy, the Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations (Health Sciences), and other stakeholders to support the advancement of the School's mission of excellence in education, research, and practice. The role focuses on facilitating and managing activities to create and support a pipeline that achieves overall fundraising and engagement goals.

In collaboration with the Dean and the Assistant Dean, the Senior Associate Director will provide internal operations services in donor stewardship, special events, and initiatives to strengthen alumni engagement at the School of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact effectively with diverse constituents as a charismatic ambassador for the School of Pharmacy.
• Develop and sustain relationships with key constituents, including alumni and donors.
• Implement donor stewardship activities and special events.
• Strengthen alumni engagement through targeted initiatives.
• Express funding needs and giving opportunities through excellent written and verbal communication.
• Take initiative to work both independently and collaboratively in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Balance multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Utilize Microsoft 365, Banner, FPM (Blackbaud), or similar CRM/fundraising databases.
• Travel within the US and work evening/weekend hours as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of alumni engagement, fundraising, and/or related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Proven ability to engage diverse constituents and serve as an ambassador.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, integrity, and success in relationship-building.
• Strong work ethic and determination to achieve goals.
• Commitment to professional development, learning, and mentorship.

Pay

Pay Range: $58,850–$75,000.
