About the Role
The Senior Associate, Client Support Services supports daily trading operations and client/exchange connectivity for small and/or less complex clients and projects. This role is accountable for assigned daily tasks, medium- and longer-term support activities, and issue resolution across trade flows, trading interfaces, FIX connectivity, regulatory reporting, and related infrastructure touchpoints, including networking and Linux environments.
Responsibilities
- Support assigned daily activities across the trade lifecycle for equities, fixed income, and options
- Monitor and support FIX connectivity, including session checks, log review, and message troubleshooting
- Assist with client onboarding, certification, and testing for FIX connections, working under guidance for more complex setups
- Troubleshoot order and execution flow issues across internal and external systems, helping maintain stability of real-time trading interfaces
- Support CAT and FINRA reporting processes by completing assigned reviews, reconciliations, and issue follow-up
- Investigate connectivity issues involving network circuits, latency, and routing that may impact assigned trading flows
- Partner with network teams on circuit migrations, failovers, and incident resolution, escalating complex issues as needed
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned client issues related to trade processing, FIX connectivity, and reporting, communicating updates clearly to technical and business stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in trade support, trading operations, or a related capital markets environment
- Working understanding of the trade lifecycle across equities, fixed income, and options
- Experience in broker-dealer or capital market environments
- Hands-on experience with FIX protocol, including session connectivity, message flows, and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals
- Experience supporting incident management, issue documentation, and root cause follow-up
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Mainframe technologies, including navigating Mainframe online environments for job monitoring, data lookup, and issue triage
- Familiarity with TSO/ISPF commands
