Senior Associate. Client Service Associate (CSA)
Job Description Summary
The Client Service Associate (CSA) serves as the primary coordinator between clients, Relationship Managers, and internal business partners to ensure a seamless client experience. This role is responsible for managing client service requests, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting a portfolio of commercial banking clients through the execution and coordination of a wide range of account servicing and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities For The Role
- Build and maintain strong client relationships in partnership with Relationship Managers.
- Serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries and service requests.
- Provide clients with account statements, balance inquiries, bank verification letters, chargeback copies, check images, federal reference numbers, and tax forms.
- Process overdraft decisions and provide basic online banking support.
- Review specialized reporting and assist with relationship grouping activities.
- Support account analysis maintenance, account opening, and new client onboarding activities.
- Capture and process client requests related to money movement, including manual wires, transfers, drawdowns, and repetitive wire transactions.
- Facilitate fee reversals, interest adjustments, limit increases (ACH, wire, and remote deposit), and rate variance requests.
- Absorb and resolve fraud reports, case management, escrow subaccount maintenance, and unposted check and ACH payments.
- Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills And Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related financial industry role.
- A High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, operations, policies, procedures, and applicable financial industry regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Strong client service, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, Relationship Managers, and cross-functional partners to deliver exceptional service.
Remote Work Information
This is a remote role based in the New York City Metro areas.
Pay Range
The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $35.00 USD to $40.00 USD. Actual pay range may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
