Senior Associate -- Business Valuations

Key Responsibilities
- Perform business valuations for financial reporting and tax compliance purposes, including purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, common stock valuations, derivative valuations, solvency opinions, and fairness opinions
- Build and maintain complex financial models, including discounted cash flow analyses, market-based valuation approaches, and option-pricing models
- Manage valuation engagements from inception through completion, including due diligence, management interviews, financial analysis, and report preparation
- Collaborate closely with clients, auditors, legal counsel, board members, and institutional investors to deliver high-quality, defensible analyses
- Prepare clear, well-supported valuation reports and client presentations
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements while meeting tight deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in business valuation, investment banking, transaction advisory, or a related discipline
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Ability to independently solve complex, ambiguous problems with limited supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accountability, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with-or willingness to leverage-AI-enabled tools to enhance analytical efficiency and productivity
- Comfortable operating in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
- Currently hold or are actively pursuing a valuation credential (e.g., ASA, CVA, CFA)
