Senior Associate - Valuation
Responsibilities
- Analyze historical and projected financial information.
- Develop detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
- Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
- Efficiently manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
- Leverage financial and market data software platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
- Present thorough valuation analyses to our clients consistent with the scope of the projects.
- Experience with Option Pricing Models (Black Scholes) and/or Monte Carlo simulation is preferred.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field of study.
- Two to four (2 to 4) years of prior valuation work experience is required, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm.
- Experience as a key team member leading the development and ultimate completion of client-ready valuation deliverables (or similar client service deliverables).
- Significant progress toward a ASA designation or similar designation will be looked upon favorably.

BRG Transaction and Valuation Opinions provides valuation services in support of transaction opinions (fairness and solvency opinions), portfolio valuation, tax and financial reporting, litigation, and special situations (i.e. Restructuring / Bankruptcy support).
