Senior Associate, Back-End Engineer
About the role
The Senior Associate, Back-End Engineer role is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and Lake Mary, FL. This role provides back-end development for IDIP (IT Directory of Inventory Products), interacts with the IDIP’s user base to troubleshoot issues, develops solutions to automate support functions, and provides custom SQL reporting to support advanced customer use cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide back-end development for IDIP (IT Directory of Inventory Products)
- Interact with the IDIP’s user base to troubleshoot issues that arise
- Develop solutions to facilitate automation of support functions
- Provide custom SQL reporting to support advanced customer use cases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- 2-6 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python (nice to have)
- Experience with ETL software such as Pentaho (nice to have)
