Senior Engineer, Back-End

About the role

At Fox Corporation, this position is part of the team producing and distributing content through some of the world's leading and most valued brands, including FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement new features and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with at least one major programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.

Skills

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
