About the role
L3Harris is seeking a motivated individual to join the team as a Maintenance Request Project Manager, supporting innovative telecommunication and network solutions. The selected candidate will work on multiple programs and initiatives as the primary contractor, collaborating with internal and external teams. Responsibilities include managing telecommunications maintenance request events, reviewing procedures for new network designs, and overseeing small to large network MACD projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Work independently on projects, managing telecommunications maintenance requests based on customer requests and user requirements.
- Review procedures for implementing new network designs.
- Manage small to large network MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) projects.
- Coordinate complex operations across multiple teams within the FTI Deployment domain.
- Interpret engineering designs to obtain relevant data for building port paths in the OSS system.
- Collaborate with CPE and Telco Engineering teams to resolve discrepancies in engineering designs.
- Create change packages to proactively stage specified changes in Maintenance Requests.
- Implement Maintenance Requests and their specified changes into the OSS system.
- Support Network Implementation Management with MR creation for coordinating field implementation events.
- Review L3Harris DICE artifacts (diagrams, MOPs, and parts) and field work orders (DCDs).
- Communicate and coordinate field efforts between L3Harris and FAA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; OR
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience; OR
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Prior knowledge and experience with communications engineering designs, service solutions, and implementation processes.
- Project management skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines and complete tasks per project schedule.
- Strong technical aptitude with multiple FTI networking tools, including but not limited to: MR tool, L3Harris DICE, ClearQuest, SSMT, FINs, Metasolv, PITs (Parts), Field Dispatch tool, and OSS tool.
Skills
- MEF 2.0 certification and/or equivalent level experience (preferred).
- CCNA Certification or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- SQL and Microsoft Access knowledge.
- Strong data analytical background, identifying patterns and determining root causes.
- Strong knowledge of all MS Office suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong organization skills and process-oriented mindset.
- Ability to identify commonalities or discrepancies and understand cause-and-effect impacts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with teams to resolve engineering design discrepancies.
