Job Summary

The Senior Assistant Program Manager supports the daily operations of a Specialized Adult Foster Care (AFC) program, providing leadership, coaching, and oversight to Direct Support Professionals and Shift Managers. This role works closely with the Program Manager to ensure high-quality services, regulatory compliance, person-centered care, and a safe, supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer employee relations and evaluations
  • Create and submit monthly reports
  • Aid in the hiring and onboarding process
  • Ensure team compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Promote positive relationships and independence among residents
  • Provide transportation and community participation support
  • Offer personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
  • Administer medication and monitor health

Preferred What You Bring

  • Experience in residential, behavioral health, or human services settings
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals as needed
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends
  • Pass required background checks
