Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney

About the role

The Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Prince William County, Cities of Manassas & Manassas Park seeks a Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney. The position is at-will and serves at the pleasure of the Commonwealth’s Attorney.

Duties

• Oversee daily dockets not otherwise assigned
• Handle a full caseload at all levels of Court
• Respond to calls and questions from citizens, law enforcement, and defense counsel

Preferences

• A Juris Doctorate degree
• Five or more years of related experience
• Skilled at legal research and writing
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Special Requirements

• Member of the Virginia State Bar in good standing

Salary Range

$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 Annual
