About the role
Collins Aerospace, a leader in technologically advanced, intelligent solutions, is seeking an experienced Asset Management Program (AMP) team member to optimize and manage modifications and upgrades across our fleet-supported programs. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless creation, modification, and implementation of engineering documentation, as well as managing inventory requirements and logistics for global airline and MRO customers.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate retrofit program management, ensuring kits are delivered on time and in accordance with service bulletin specifications.
- Forecast demand for RMN Kits, track sales and incorporation performance, and report against fleet upgrade goals.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners such as Airbus to manage AOG (Airplane On Ground) situations.
- Collaborate with Aftermarket Technical Services, MRO facilities, and functional groups like Licensing, Majors, Finance, and Distribution Centers to deliver exceptional and seamless solutions.
- Coordinate with internal support teams to collect and update critical data in Salesforce, supporting the success of the Asset Management Program.
- Solve complex challenges and implement solutions to business problems, with guidance and established best practices.
- Hone skills in SAP, problem-solving, and decision-making as you grow into a trusted decision-maker for routine challenges.
- Showcase your knowledge by sharing insights and contributing to the team's success through impactful presentations to peers and leadership.
- Support the team with on-call responsibilities for AOG situations during nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Ability to travel internationally to conduct annual inventory audits at our MROs (China, Singapore, Prestwick, Toulouse, Dubai, Alabama).
- Prior experience in customer support and/or engineering positions.
- Previous Aerospace experience, especially within an Aftermarket Technical or Spares function.
- Able to solve routine customer problems utilizing resident processes/systems.
- Familiarity with Technical Drawings, Service Bulletins and Customer Maintenance Manuals.
- Working knowledge of SAP and CRM/ Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Team Center and Technical Manuals.
- Proficiency in developing automated visuals and reports, compatible with Microsoft Dynamics and PowerBI.
- Experience communicating information clearly and effectively across various audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Experienced in using Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and documenting complex projects, including tracking schedules, resource allocation, capacity, and budgets.
- Prior experience in analyzing technical challenges and providing support and solutions across various stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, or internal teams.
