Senior Asset Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver products in a rapid development cycle to augment and extend Five9 core product offerings.
• Work in a team environment via web conferences, and chat collaboration.
• Work independently while staying in sync with the rest of the team on challenging, ever-changing development projects.

Requirements

• Strong software development background.
• Experience working with end-to-end tool chains including project definition and organization, source control, linting, test automation.
• Recent experience with Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, Git.
• Expert in: JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, Node.js.
• Proficient in: Typescript, Nest.js, VueJS.
• Toolchain: Visual Studio Code, Jira, Confluence, Git.
• An understanding of cloud-based software development considerations and architectures (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) and web-based API interfaces (SOAP, REST, AJAX, WebSockets, etc.).
• Familiarity with unix based command line shell usage.
• An understanding of Contact Center technologies a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in application or integration software development.
• Application development related to Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI) with systems such as Cisco ICM/UCCE, Genesys, or Avaya is a plus.
• 3+ years development experience in web-based applications (HTML5, JavaScript) and associated frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, SASS, PostCSS, jQuery, Marionette, Backbone, Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.
• 1+ years experience with web application hosting services such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, and self-hosted Node.js services.
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Pay

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the United States. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package during your hiring process. Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

Schedule

This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 30 mile radius of one of our offices. For candidates who reside within a 30 mile radius of one of our offices, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (T, W, TH) in office.
