Senior ASIC Power Engineer

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior ASIC Power Engineer to design hardware accelerators and processors on their next-generation mobile, embedded, and datacenter platforms. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology impacting various industries including consumer graphics, self-driving cars, and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative hardware, GPU, and system designs to extend the state of the art in performance and efficiency
• Understand and implement design and implementation, develop power metrics, and drive power reductions
• Execute and deliver fully verified, high-performance, area and power-efficient RTL to meet design targets
• Work with architects, designers, verification, and VLSI teams to accomplish tasks

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in processor or related high-performance designs
• Expertise in SystemVerilog or similar HDL
• Solid understanding of physical design and VLSI
• Good communication skills

Qualifications

• Background in computer architecture
• Experience with artificial intelligence

Skills

• Strong knowledge of computer architecture
• Experience with GPU deep learning
• Ability to work autonomously and handle challenges

Benefits

• Competitive base salary range: $136,000 - $218,500 for Level 3, and $168,000 - $264,500 for Level 4
• Equity and benefits package
